中庸之道?
I'm still watching 中国式管理，'Chinese Style Management', as a tool to develop my Chinese. In talking on this topic, the speaker refers to the 'Zhong Yong' way of thinking. He's giving reference to the Zhong of Zhong Guo. But what is Zhong Yong? (中庸)
My dictionary refers to the 'Golden Mean', a confucian philosophy. Anyone know anything about this? Is this the history of why China is called the Middle Country?

中means unbiased, 庸means unchangeable or stable. According to Confucian, 中庸is the righteous way and fundament of social stability.
China is called 中国 has nothing to do with 中庸, it's simply because ancient Chinese people thought they were in the middle of the world like any other nations thought that time:)
