Could a male boss ask a female subordinate to go out to buy condoms for him.  Of a Western firm no less - and the manager is probably an expat.

 

Not my company thankfully, but that of a friend's.  Could have been a joke... but in the US or UK, such a request would be unheard of - except in the courts or headline of newspapers.

 

The point goes to show a lack of HR protection / guidance against sexual harrassment.  HR are typically swamped with fighting attrition and constant salary renegotiation.
