Chinawhys: Business Private Investigators?

This company sent me some marketing blurb recently.  They are a risk management advisory assisting multinationals in China.  They cited some interesting examples of how they had helped uncover:

- that the GM of an MNC was awarding supply contracts to companies owned by his close relatives

- that an employee of a auto accessories manufacturer was running a parallel business producing replicas

- that a counterfeit gang was utilising staff and equipment within a client's business

 

Sounds fun!

 

They also seem to do background checks on individuals.  Good for if you want to deal with someone, but want to know more about their background before you trust them.
