Weather by SMS

I was laughed at a few times last week, for forgetting my brolly on days that it turned out wet, and remembering on those that everyone else knew would be dry. 

 

Whereas I tend to stick my head out of the window and look at the clouds, my local friends tell me that they check the weather forecast the night before.  Apparently the weather forecast is reliable enough as to know.

 

I'm not a good one for watching weather forecasts at a certain time every day, so I'm very grateful that Yonnie let me in on this secret.  She uses an SMS weather service.  Hopefully from now on I'll be more appropriately equipped to deal with Shanghai's weather!
